Chapter Eight

Junk Drawer

Most “financial plans” resemble a junk drawer. Financial products of different types (including savings, retirement plans, insurance plans, and financing plans) are chosen to satisfy a specific need or want and then stuck in a drawer.

They are like individual compartments, or “boxes”. Standing alone to serve their specific purpose, they have no economic harmony with each other. Instead, there is economic conflict which directly create –- or lead to -- wealth transfers.

None of the three primary economic principles have been applied to your “personal economy”. As a result, the typical “personal economy” is a writhing pit of risk and wealth transfers which will continue until changes are made.
